What is the best time to visit Velara Resort?
Bali's dry season runs from April to October — ideal for outdoor activities and clear skies. However, the wet season (November to March) brings a quieter, more intimate atmosphere and lush green landscapes. Velara is beautiful year-round.
What experiences are available for children?
Velara warmly welcomes families. We offer guided junior trekking, traditional Balinese craft workshops, and a dedicated children's menu at Akar Restaurant. Our concierge team can also arrange private babysitting services.
Can I request a private chef for in-villa dining?
Absolutely. Our in-villa private dining experience can be arranged for any meal — breakfast, sunset cocktails, or a full multi-course dinner under the stars. Simply inform our concierge at least 24 hours in advance.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations cancelled 30 or more days prior to arrival receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14–29 days are charged 50% of the total stay. Within 14 days, the full reservation is non-refundable. Special rates may have different terms.
Are the villas suitable for destination weddings or private events?
Yes. Velara's estate is available for exclusive buyouts, intimate weddings, and private retreats. Our events team will work with you to design every detail — from floral arrangements to curated menus and ceremonial setups.
Is airport transfer included in the stay?
Complimentary private airport transfers are included for all villa bookings of 3 nights or more. Our chauffeur will meet you at Ngurah Rai International Airport and escort you directly to the resort.
